Karen Bendell is a board-level leader with successful experience of rapid turnaround and growing brands through retail, wholesale, licensing, ecommerce and supply chain management.
Most recently Karen was key in developing and executing the turnaround strategy for Prominent UK’s Brands Division. She built a community around Chester Barrie and then aligned the business processes to support that vision. She has experience of selling to and buying from mature and emerging markets and has worked for international luxury brands, (Christian Dior) and world class manufacturers across tailoring, casual wear and accessories.
With an entrepreneurial mind set she has run her own business, had permanent positions and consulted, she understands the importance of strong governance. Her ethos is to foster a culture of success by defining vision, value and goals around change.
Catherine Erdly is a highly commercial retail expert with a passion for helping retailers and brands prepare for the new industry reality.
An experienced public-speaker, event organiser and workshop facilitator, Catherine has a talent for bringing people together in a positive way to understand and prepare for the challenges ahead.
She is the creator of the “Future of Retail” events series have tackled some of the biggest issues facing retail today – from the impact of Brexit, Amazon and the future of physical stores.
With nearly 20 years’ retail experience Catherine has held senior positions in Merchandising for high street names in both the UK and the USA as well as working extensively in the start-up/SME space. Most recently she headed up the Stationery and Art teams at Paperchase before leaving in 2017 to pursue her interest in consultancy.
Jennifer Fruehauf is a customer experience consultant who helps brands and retailers transform the shopping experience across digital and physical touchpoints to engage customers and deliver commercial value.
A commercial professional and trained Design Thinker, Jennifer has 20 years of international experience with blue-chip companies and startups in mobile, technology and retail sectors, driving innovation, growth and competitive differentiation through omnichannel customer experience, retail tech, and fashion tech. An accomplished speaker and writer, Jennifer also advises a number of fashion tech startups based in London.
Recently she was Commercial & Business Development Director for Farfetch’s Store of the Future (SoF) division and led EMEA business development for a Toronto-based retail software start-up.
